“Florence Nightingale” Delivers Needed Food and Health Care

STUART, Florida- The “Florence Nightingale Express” mobile health clinic and her team arrive to give free health care and donate food to residents in need at the First Baptist Church of Lake Placid in Highlands County, from 9:00 am until noon on Saturday, July 25th. The fully functional clinic-on-wheels will provide health examinations and treatment for uninsured and underinsured patients.

Employees at the Visiting Nurse Association have been collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food to be delivered to residents in this area who are in need of a little help. In conjunction with the First Baptist Church, the Visiting Nurse Association is pleased to be able to help community members meet their basic needs.
