Our home health aides are available for one-hour visits to 24-hour care, depending on the unique wants and needs of each patient and their families. Our home health aide services are an ideal choice for you or a loved one.   

Hospital Discharge/Post-Operative Assistance. When you or a loved one is discharged from the hospital, following an illness, injury, or surgery, having home health aide services can greatly benefit your recovery process and help reduce your chance of re-admittance. Our HHAs can assists with transferring, bathing, medication reminders, range-of-motion exercises, moral support, and more.  

Personal & Companionship Care. Did you know that socialization and companionship are scientifically proven to improve one’s health and promote well-being? Even if you or your loved one is able to complete your day-to-day activities without assistance, our home health aides can provide socialization and emotional support. 

Dementia Monitoring. VNA home health aides provide comprehensive, in-home monitoring for those experiencing early signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s. They are familiar with the different stages of these illnesses and possess the necessary skills to safely and effectively handle any challenges or behavioral issues that may arise. Our home health aides also use specialized dementia care plans that focus on the individual likes, dislikes and personalities of each patient. All activities are planned to stimulate one’s cognitive function and memory, and may include listening to music, completing art projects, looking through photo albums or making a customized VNA memory box.  

Respite Care (Caregiver Relief). When a family member or caregiver of a dependent elderly person requires a short-term break from their at-home health care duties, our home health aides will visit your loved one in their home so you can take a temporary leave-of-absence from your health care responsibilities without  worry. Our HHA respite care services provide the opportunity for your elderly loved one to remain independent in a familiar environment with as few disruptions to their everyday routine as possible.  

Home Health Aides and Skilled Nursing Care Together. Personal and companionship care provided by home health aides and skilled care provided by a nurse are not mutually exclusive services. Many families find that using these services together is often the best choice, especially after a patient returns home following a hospital stay for illness or surgery. 

And as always, our home health aides are overseen and supervised by a registered nurse and have passed local, state, and federal background checks prior to joining our VNA family.
