The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida brought its mobile health clinic, The Nightingale Express, to the Martin County Boys & Girls Club for the organization’s annual Back-to-School event, providing free school and sports physicals to help local students start the year healthy and prepared.
Building on the success of the back-to-school event, the Nightingale Express was at Boys & Girls Club in Hobe Sounds and Port Salerno to make sure even more children had access to essential back-to-school care. These efforts reflect VNA of Florida’s ongoing commitment to bringing quality healthcare directly to the communities it serves.
The mobile clinic will be available to the public again on August 28. A full clinic schedule can be found here.
If your community or organization has a healthcare need, contact the VNA at 772-286-1844 to learn how the mobile clinic can help.
These outreach programs are fully funded by the VNA Foundation, which raises money to support community health services across the community. One of the foundation’s largest annual fundraisers, the VNA Foundation Clay Shoot, will be held on October 18. Participants of all skill levels are invited to enjoy a day of fun, friendly competition, all while helping provide free healthcare to those who need it most.
