Here's what makes our Grand Oaks communities a cut above the rest:

  • You will have a nurse on-site 24/7* - Resident wellbeing is our utmost concern, therefore we believe residents should have access to experienced health professionals on-site around the clock.
  • You will be accompanied on scheduled medical visits - Our experience in home care indicated that seniors often face difficulties relaying information from physician back to caregiver. For this reason we send a caregiver to accompany every resident to his or her scheduled medical appointments.

  • You will be managed by local health experts - We have provided local award-winning in-home care since 1976, and now take great pleasure in owning and operating three assisted living communities.
  • You will live in the most favorable sized community - Grand Oaks residents enjoy spacious rooms with varying floor plans and amenities and services equal to those of a luxury resort, while maintaining an intimate, home-like atmosphere.
  • You will be offered an assortment of menu options - Residents are served three chef-prepared meals a day with at least ten menu options to choose from. Our chef makes certain there is something to please each resident's taste.

What forms of payment does VNA of Florida accept?

Visiting Nurse Association of Florida accepts a variety of payment options:

We are a Medicare certified home health agency, and therefore Medicare is the primary form of payment we accept. We also accept Medicare Replacement Plans and some commercial insurance policies, such as HMOs and PPOs.

Our acceptance of a commercial insurance policy is dependent upon the details of the policy itself. We evaluate commercial insurance plans on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you wish to use an insurance policy other than Medicare to pay for services with VNA of Florida. We will be more than happy to go over your policy with you.

Paying out of pocket or using long term care insurance are also options for anyone interested in our Private Care services, or VNA Plus. These services are for anyone who requires extended home care beyond what Medicare or commercial insurance policies cover.
